Zinātnisko darbu konkursa uzvarētāja dāvanā saņem iespēju praktizēties Konkurences padomē

On 31 May 2022, concluded a research paper competition in competition law. In the presence of five finalists of the competition and representatives of the committee, Linda Lielbriede was recognised as the winner of the competition, receiving a 1000 euro prize, a internship in the Competition Council and the opportunity to participate in summer School organised by Riga Graduate School of Law.

A total of eight papers were submitted to the competition. The authors of the five papers, which won the highest jury rating in the competition, presented their scientific paper to the committee. The students had prepared scientific papers for the competition on topics such as merger control in the digital age, competition criminal law aspects, state aid in the context of COVID-19 and competition law.

After evaluating all the submitted papers and presentations, the commission unanimously agreed to give the first place to Linda Lielbriede (the University of Latvia). Promotion award received Samanta Lidere (the University of Amsterdam) un Patrīcija Bodniece (Riga Graduate School of Law).
